Vader the 3 legged Rottweiler Cancer Survivor!
Vader is my 8-year Rottweiler that I rescued from the city of Detroit in 2000. Vader was diagnosed with osteosarcoma cancer June 11, 2007 My two options were to do with him for about three months of life, or have his right leg amputated to do. At that time I did not think about the cost, only what is best for Vader. As would be with only three legs? How long the operation would prolong his life? Many difficult questions went through my head. After evaluating all the alternatives and, therefore,Search online on how the dogs in shape with only three legs, I decided to do this. I went to pick him up the day after surgery, came through the great, and I was so surprised to see him standing to bring his little stump of a tail. I thought I should wear. I custom built a ramp for him to come into my Trailblazer (as seen in the video) and approached them. I practiced with him before going to the ramp so that his speech would have been familiarwith him. I have a video of the whole journey to get on and off the truck and at home. He did ride home and some large stone steps, I was amazed. The scene in the video with his shirt in a reality day after surgery. The story continues, Vader is still good, but the concerns for space, I will stop here for today. If I have seen enough / answers, I am the story with more details on how the cost, treatment, care, treatment and food to continue chemotherapy.
